Sobre mi/About me

Me llamo Juan Gallego y he trabajado toda mi carrera con una idea: hacer que mis pinturas provoquen sentimientos en las personas que las vean.

Siempre he tenido atracción por las escenas cotidianas de la vida, esos momentos que vivimos todos habitualmente y a los que no les damos importancia. Paseo por mi ciudad observando a la gente e intento captar esa esencia, trasladándola a mis pinturas. Con ello, encuentro sentimientos de fortaleza, calma, serenidad, confianza, amor, espontaneidad, sinceridad, ...

Deseo que todo el que vea mi obra, disfrute de ella tanto como lo hago yo al representarla y compartir ese reflejo que yo siento.

My name is Juan Gallego and I have worked my entire career with one idea: to make my paintings provoke feelings in the people who see them. 

I have always been attracted to the everyday scenes of life, those moments that we all live habitually and to which we do not give importance. I walk around my city observing people and I try to capture that essence, transferring it to my paintings. With it, I find feelings of strength, calm, serenity, trust, love, spontaneity, sincerity, ... 

I wish that everyone who sees my work enjoys it as much as I do when representing it and sharing that reflection that I feel.
